Maybelline color sensational Lip Liner Velvet Beige review

Today I am going to review "Maybelline color sensational Lip Liner Velvet Beige".
I was always on a look out for a light pinkish ,nudish lip liner that can also help in reducing the pigmentation of lips. I searched on internet and came across this lip liner. I read its review , which mentioned that its a n*de shade. I ordered it online quickly but was disappointed the with the shade.

It comes in a normal pencil shape with no in-build sharpener in the cap. Pencil is small as compared to normal lip liners. It is of the same shade as the lip color, so its very easy to locate it.Consistency wise it is not drying but not extremely creamy either. Girls with extremely dry lips may need to wear lip balm first. I don't put lip balm beneath it and don't face any issues.

The only concern that I have with this lip liner is its shade.Its kind of dull,dark slightly pinkish. I don't think its n*de shade. On my lips it looks dark and makes my face look dull, if I wear this alone.I feel this shade is not for young girls,this is my personal opinion though. If I try to apply this with a very light hand then it may pass off as a n*de lip color, but then the coverage is very light.
Also, this shade has slight shimmers in it, but it doesn't look over the top.

Pros:

1. Creamy
2. Staying power is good.
3. Budget friendly

Cons:

1. I don't like this shade, so its a con for me. But many girls love this shade :)

So overall, my only issue with this lip liner is its shade. I was hoping for some light nudish shade but this turned out to be dark for my taste. Otherwise, its a decent lip liner.
