The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion review

Hi everyone,

Today I am going to review “The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion”.

It comes in a very cute green color tube, with a flip open cap. The product inside is transparent type and smells heavily of tea tree oil. The smell is quiet overwhelming , which may be bothersome for some.

Its consistency is little bit runny.Now, the product claims that it is for blemished skin and helps in removing spots.

My Experience:

I have been using this product for 2 months and I have not seen even a slight improvement in my scars. Leave aside removing blemishes, it doesn’t even work as a night time moisturizer. It’s not moisturizing at all. I mean I have oily / combination skin, still I feel it does nothing in terms of providing moisture. It has a really cool effect on the skin when you apply it, but it just vanishes within 2-3 minutes without doing anything. It’s like you have applied water on your skin. I am very disappointed with this product. And to top it all, it’s so heavily priced. I bought this for Rs. 750 for such small qunatity. It’s a total waste of money.

Pros:

1. Travel friendly tube

2. Cute packging, I love the green color tube.

3. Smell is very nice for me as I like tea trea oil smell.



Cons:

1. Very expensive

2. Doesn’t not help in removing scars

3. Doesn’t moisturize at all

4. Tea tree oil smell may be bothersome for some.

5. Very less quantity

I would not recommend this product, as it does nothing .
