Hi Beautiful,
Today, I am going to review 'Airy Fairy' lipstick by Rimmel London. I always wanted to have this lipstick , as I have heard great reviews about this in the blogging world especially in the West. So , I have finally laid my hands on this and now I am going to share my experience with you guys.
It comes in a decent black packaging. Its sturdy, strong and there is no fear of breakage. The consistency of the lipstick is not very creamy in application, and it dries out just a little bit after application, so its good to moisturize your lips with a lip balm, before using this. It doesn't dry out lips up to an extent that's bothersome, its just not moisturizing or creamy. But, it does settle into lines on your lips.
Now coming to the shade, its one of the most beautiful light pink shades I have ever come across. Its a perfect nude shade for me. Its very light, but not light enough to make me look washed out. It has a very light gold tint to it. The Gold is not a shimmer its just a tint, which shows well in sunlight and adds a beautiful sheen to the lips. I have been wearing this lipstick almost every day with heavily kohl-ed eyes to work and it looks gorgeous.Because of the gold tint it might seem like frosty, but actually its not. Its the most unique and natural shade that I have ever seen. This shade would not suit girls with dark complexion or with pigmented lips.
It provides decent coverage in one swipe, which is build-able.
As for its staying power, its not that great to boast of but its not a dud either. It has decent staying power, I like to blot it with a tissue paper and apply 2-3 layers , and it stays on easily for 4-5 hours , but fades after a meal.
PRICE: INR 290
Pros:
1. Pretty Pretty Pretty.
2. Perfect pinkish nude shade for fair girls.
3. Decent Staying power.
4. Budget friendly.
5. Decent Packaging.
6. Looks great with smokey eyes.
Cons:
1. Might not suit dark skin beauties.
2. Wont look nice on pigmented lips
3. Settles into lines.
4. Not sure if its available in any store, I bought this online on Slassy.com
If you love nude shades, you should give this a try.
Thanks for reading.
Good Luck :)
