Revlon Colorburst Laquer Balm in 'Provocateur'

Today I am going to share and review with you guys my latest addiction. Its the 'Revlon Colorburst Laquer Balm in shade 'Provocateur''. I just love it. Its the perfect red for me. If you guys remember I shared my Haul with you guys, you can check it here.

I am usually not  a bold lip color person but this shade got me hooked on to bold shades and I wear this color to work everyday. 'Provocateur' is a bright cherry red color with slight blue undertones. Its super pigmented and gives a very glossy finish to lips. It makes them really smooth and evens them out.

Packaging wise its very similar to the revlon colorburst sticks. But the texture of the packaging is shiny and metallic. Actually, revlon has launched the matte and the laquer balms in colorburst range. The matte ones have a matte finish to the packaging and are easily distinguishable when compared to the laquer balms.

The shade is super pigmented and moisturizing as well. It lasts a good 5 hours with small meals in between. It gives a cooling sensation to the lips on application.I love the finish that it provides to the lips, which is like very glossy and juicy.

Sometimes I like to apply a single coat and spread it on lips using my finger to give a very natural and stain like finish. You can check that in the below swatch.

Below you can check the lip swatches which are in full pigmentation. I would say that its the perfect red to wear during day time.

I am eagerly waiting for them to be launched in India as they have very nice color selection.
